OH! What a small world indeed! I can still vividly recall when a previous client had forwarded my business to a friend of hers looking for a maternity session for her daughter-in-law. I doubled in excitement when I found out that she knows my mother!
It was a beautiful coincidence that until today I am still in awe when I tell the story on how this trip had come about. Here I was sitting on my computer and researching, preparing for the upcoming March Break.
I have always wanted to do an adventure photography. Imagine my delight when I was contacted by my friend and we ended up planning for a winter maternity session! To add further excitement, its not locally, its in NEW YORK!!!
Wheng and I found each other through my client turned friend Jess. She was looking on doing a maternity shoot and after a couple of exchanges of correspondence the rest is history!
After coordinating with these two lovely ladies, we have come up with a plan for their session date. The plan was to have a Spring sunrise photo session by the beach. They have coordinated their outfits to be long flowy dresses that could be swept by the wind and their heads to be adorned by flower crowns.
It was late December when a friend of mine had contacted me to do a maternity session for her. It was so much fun planning this shoot with her. We both agreed that she would not be wearing the maternity dresses that we had envisioned in our head.
When I first started, I vividly recall that I have joined various groups in Facebook catering for photographers. There are some that are for mentoring, or there are groups for sharing their know-hows or gentle opinion for your photos. Other groups are for coaching and some for beginners.
